About Almet SRL, Bistrita
Almet is a company that specializes in manufacturing all types of flanges and blinds, as well as other similar machine parts, forged and sanded. The company is located in Bistrita, Bistrita-Nasaud county, Romania.
The company manufactures a wide range of products:
- Inox flanges, alloyed with Cr ,Ni and Mo, of W1.4301, W1.4404, W1.4541 and W1.4571 qualities (as well as handles and produces according to special orders) with varying thickness (even very thin flanges) with nominal diameter ranging from 15 to 800 mm.
- Inox flanges, with a thickness according to DIN, EN and ANSI standards, with nominal diameter ranging from 15 to 600 mm.
- All sorts of flanges (plate, free, blinds etc. made from carbon-steel, forged or welded, with nominal diameter ranging from 15 up to 800 mm).
- Flanges with neck (for head to head welding) and threaded flanges, made from inox or carbon-steel material, with nominal diameter ranging from 15 up to 600 mm
- Special flanges or similar machine parts, as well as rings, shells etc, forged, welded or sanded according to client specifications.
- Close moulded flanged parts, with weight ranging from 0.3 Kg up to 16 Kg.
- Open moulded flanged parts, with weight ranging from 10 Kg up to 300 Kg.
- Any other types of foged parts, with weight rainging from 1 Kg up to 750 Kg.
The manufacturing process relies on a heavily equiped modern forge, with standard hammers ranging from 200 Kg up to 5000 Kg, moulding hammers ranging from 2,5 up to 3,15 tons. Corresponding heating owens and the ones for thermal treatment, modern compressors to produce compressed air and other related equipment.
Almet also has a head to head welding department, for any types of profiles, and for any sections up to 5000 mm2. We also have protective gas welding of MIG, MAG si WIG types.
Mechanic shops inside the company have also different machines of required precision for the current manufacturing process (parallel lathes, carussell lathes, milling and drilling machines). In the near future we intend to improve and extend our manufacturing process and our equipment to satisfy always growing customer needs in terms of quality, complexity and quantity.
The company now lies after a heavy and well thought, efficient investment. We constantly invest in extending our production lines and our QA techniques.
Almet has earned good reputation among clients in Romania and abroad, which is based on dynamism in what concerns client custom demands, our fast delivery times and our constant high quality products that correspond to market demands. Almet exports its products in EU member countries like Austria, Switzerland, Germany and others.
